Trango Tower stolen from Zodiark on 6th try (i know i’ve been kinda lucky recently ^_^)

Trango Tower is the best one handed Sword in this version with 152 Attack Power and i have gotten Gandarme Shield with 90 Evade and 90 Magick Evade and it absorbs all elements hahahaha i know i know how you feel about it.

I got the shield in 260 minutes, didn’t count how many tries though but i will try to get another one this time i’ll make video.

I succeeded in stealing Trango Tower from Zodiark with the 49th challenge at last.
I have missed the moment of truth when I stole Trango Tower from him.
I was not able to push a button timely.

Method of obtaining!

#1 – Acquire 10 espers.
#2 – Finish Mindflayer hunt in Henne Mines.
#3 – Go to Jahara and talk to Geomancer Yugelu. He’ll now open the door in [Henne Mines / Ore Separation], which leads you deeper into the mines.
#4 – Progress past lv60+ enemies until you arrive in front of entrance to [Henne Mines / Special Charter Dig].
#5 – Whoever is your stealer, make sure he/she has Thief’s Cuffs equipped (not required, though).
#6 – Perform a steal attempt and see what you swipe…
#7 – Your spoils can be… common steal: Serpentarius, uncommon steal: Megalixir, or rare steal: Trango Tower!
#8 – If you don’t succeed in stealing Trango Tower, you’ll have to reload and try again.

Trango Tower is 1Hsword with 153 ATT, and zero (0) EVA, and as such it is even stronger weapon than Zodiac Spear. Trango Tower and Zodiac Escutcheon make for a deadly combination of 153 ATT, 75 EVA, 45 M.EVA, and immunity to thunder damage.

When Trango Tower is equipped, your chr will appear as holding nothing, but his/her stance will be as if he/she would wield 1Hsword. When you check out the weapon in your Triangle menu, there won’t be any picture showing you how the weapon might look like.

Kouli comments about this weapon being a glitch weapon, and that stealing rate seems to depend on Zodiark’s HP.

And finally, here’s a clip of obtaining the weapon and seeing it in action. I kick Zodiark’s ass at the same time as well – too bad 2nd Darkja offed two chrs, else I might have killed it even before it put up Paling.
