Runescape quitting members bank videoRunescape quitting members bank video
I recorded this right before cancelling my membership and selling a bunch of items - therefore put no effort into it. I’m not requesting competition, or trying to show I have more wealth than someone. Here’s an explination for a few bizarre items:
Feathers: would have been for fishing.
Oak Logs: 99 Construction.
Ashes: Herblore (serums)
Watermelons: Protecting Pineapples
Cactus Spines: Protecting Yews
Orange Boxes: I was collecting them
Seaweed: for crafting
Proboscis: given to me from a friend who quit.
Gold Seals: to recharge sceptre
Raw Chompy: wild pies
Swamp Paste: common quest item
Raw Chicken: to get into the evil chicken’s lair
Treasure trail items: I was planning on collecting all level 1 treasure trail items. I got pretty close. Some stuff was in my house.
I had 231 quest points at the time. Less than 10 to go. =/
The talisman at the end is a death talisman.
I only had the giant pouch because I dropped my small, medium, and large before making this video.
I was a bit low on herbs and herb seeds. I had been planting them and sold a few hundred potions.
Solo combat versus OvanSolo combat versus Ovan
Made by request, a solo battle video of Haseo against Ovan. This description is lengthy, so pause the vid or something before reading this.
This is an imperfect battle as I choke a few times, but it is nonetheless my fastest time so far by the restrictions I placed on myself to make the video worth watching (namely, just don’t overlevel or spend more than 10 minutes on the fight).
I chose LV. 86 because it is the exact level at which weapon attachments start working against Ovan, so while I’m underlevelled, I’m at the right point where I won’t lose anything else. For equipment; Chain Sheaf+5 (Quick Rengeki and Backstab), Wrath Bite+5 (Critical +25% and Backstab), Null Amalgam+2 (Physical -50 and Anti-Light), and I change between Rapid Clogs+3 (Quick Charge) and Appraise Hood (Item Boost) as needed. Yes, the Amalgam, Clogs, and Hood aren’t fully alchemized, I didn’t feel like putting in the effort on the Amalgam and didn’t care about the accessories. My inventory is cut down to exactly what I needed for this fight (Healing Potion, Fairy Drop, Strange Coffee (not necessarily needed, but it was a plus)), Vital Talisman, and Speed Talisman. Both of the latter two items were used just prior to the battle.
The reason behind each weapon is that boosting Rengeki and boosting Criticals seemed to work well for the broadsword and scythe respectively. The sword was meant to slay Ovan, and as such faster Rengekis made some sense, at least at the start. The scythe’s target wasn’t really Ovan, but the Restore Neighbors, and as they wouldn’t be seeing Rengeki it seemed to work out better to boost the Critical hit rate so Heavenly Wheel could finish them faster. Backstab was purely for when Ovan began pacing or used his beam, though when the Neighbors turn their back after being summoned, sometimes the scythe catches them offguard. Whether the scythe alone or teamwork with the broadsword was faster, I don’t know and honestly don’t care for the purposes of this video; things were repetitive enough with just the scythe already. I like watching the multi-trigger.
The strategy for the fight up until the first sign is to go purely on the offensive with the sword. Once Ovan nears the 2475 mark, SP is refreshed before triggering the sign. After that, use of the Sheaf tends to be limited to when the Light Neighbors are out or Ovan’s alone, the rest usually goes to the Bite for shredding neighbors and such with the occasional SP refresher, healing as needed (it didn’t always turn out that way, but eh). Though the strategy is simplistic, Tri-Edge sometimes goes ballistic on his combo and spams it without mercy, making it impossible to respond with anything but a Skill Trigger Art. Part of getting a good time was actually pure luck as a result; I was having trouble fitting under the 10 minute limit just because there were times where Ovan became utterly relentless.
Anyway, I thought it was OK to stop at 8 minutes, which is why I settled on this effort. No, Corbenik isn’t in this video, but if you want to see an avatar fight, I already made a video of that, so check out the rest of the channel.
One last thing; constructive criticism is welcome, but anything on levelling up or using the death protection (invincibility) bug will be ignored… just like this last part will be unfortunately. :\
EDIT: Cut out all references to a spoiler so this video won’t show up by accident in a search on the final Rebirth battle.
Five Times Five JapanFive Times Five Japan
This is an extension from my previous video titled ¡§New Magic of Japan + Five Times Five Japan,¡¨ which highlights five effects from each of these two books. Almost all of the close-up material from New Magic of Japan was recorded on that video; however, I left out a few items that I was originally going to put in from Five Times Five Japan. This video makes up for the items I¡¦ve left out.
This video contains 10 effects (out of the 25 in the book) from five magicians. These wonderful items from Five Times Five Japan are not only visually shocking, but they are good representations of the core of Japanese magic- unusual thinking plus unusual methods; something many magicians strive for nowadays. Some items that I enjoy performing are¡§Ambitious Clip,¡¨ ¡§BoxBack,¡¨ ¡§The Talisman,¡¨ and the last but not least, ¡§The Joker Takes a Ride.¡¨ The latter item is perhaps one of the best, if not the best, versions of Holy P.O.D. across I¡¦ve ever seen.
It was a pleasure to learn not only the items that the creators present us, it was equally interesting to find out about these magicians¡¦ backgrounds. Most notable of these gentlemen are Masao Atsukawa, a part time magician and a prize winning mystery author, Tomohiro Maeda, the first ¡§internationalized¡¨ magician from Japan, and Hiro Sakai, who, according to my friend in Japan, appears on numerous TV shows under the pseudonym Dr. Leon.
Lastly, I hope all of you enjoy these videos just as much as me making them. Without further a do, I would like to present my video Five Times Five- the Japanese edition.
